DOD Works With Industry to Ramp Up 5G Network Innovation

The Defense Department is working closely with the Department of Health and Human Services and the State Department to provide support in dealing with the coronavirus outbreak.

American airpower was key to the allied victory in World War II. Legendary warbirds flew in the skies over Europe and the Pacific cementing these planes’ legacy as part of the greatest generation.

The Defense Department moved quickly in response to the coronavirus pandemic and is already planning follow-on computing and data needs, DOD’s principal deputy chief information officer said.

The Defense Department recognizes the service and sacrifice of our military families, and dedicates resources, services, policies and programs to support the more than 2 million uniformed service members and 2.6 million family members across the globe.

Postal operations at Ramstein Air Base have been in ‘holiday mode’ since mid-April with the onset of COVID-19, and with the gift-giving season coming up, postal clerks will be doing their best to ensure everyone gets their packages on time.
