Welcome to my annual year-in-review regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Here for your edification are the topmost AI trends and breakthroughs along with an especially honed look at the progress and perils regarding AI Ethics and AI Law. I’ll be walking you through my Forbes column coverage for all of 2022 and highlighting the big-time headline-grabbing AI proclamations and consternations.

It was quite a year.

Faithful readers of my Forbes column know that I tend to accentuate AI innovations and happenings via a particular focus on AI Ethics and AI Law. I do so to emphasize that everything about AI has inevitably and inexorably a societal ethical ramification and also indubitably legal implications too. You can’t get away from it. And you shouldn’t try to do so (thus, to be abundantly clear, you ought to be delving into AI Ethics and AI Law, no matter what AI technological specialty you have chosen).

I have mindfully selected below approximately one hundred of my Forbes column postings of this year (there are more, but I selected my lucky round number of 102).

I’ve numbered the articles for ease of reference. The numbering starts at the count of one with my column posting in early January 2022 and ends herein with a piece numbered #102 in this mid-December 2022. They are grouped by each month of the year. Be aware that I’ve got more postings coming up in the remainder of December, so keep on reading for the rest of this month. I’m also delighted to indicate that numerous crucial and engaging postings are already queued up for 2023.

The easiest way to highlight the year consists of showcasing various categories and quickly listing for you the topics covered (I’ve divided them into sets of ten).

If you see topics that you aren’t familiar with or that you’d like to get my in-depth analysis about, simply take a look at the reference number shown, then look down below to see my particular column article coverage with a corresponding link for ease of access to the article itself.

Here you go.
